Personal note:
In 2006 I was named the Volunteer of the Year by the Northeast Chamber of Commerce.

In 2007 I was named Community Ambassador by the Northeast Chamber of Commerce.

I am the founder of the Northeast Citizen Patrol (NECP) http://www.EastsideDefender.com and I also started the Minneapolis Guardian Angels safety patrol. The people in the red berets.

I've also received a proclamation from the Mayor of Minneapolis naming May 11th NECP day.

The Minneapolis police have also given me an award of merit for my crime fighting efforts in NE Minneapolis.

I'm also a 12 year member of the Northeast Minneapolis Lion's Club
