Garage Straightening: Does your garage lean a few inches, or maybe looks like it's about to fall over? I can fix most of them back to plumb and square or darn near. See before and after pictures,click here.
It makes great economic sense to fix your old garage rather than build a new one when you consider the costs to tear down an old garage, remove debris, and build a new double garage with a new slab; as much as $20,000.
Another advantage of fixing rather than building new is that city code may demand you move the location of your garage if building new.
I can get your old garage straightened in most cases for about $950.00. This includes new bracing to hold it in place again. This covers a common 20' X 20' double garage.
Additional costs need to be considered if your garage is larger, two-story, or has rotted framing or rotted sill/sole plates that need to be replaced. Or if the cement footings under the walls have settled or have disintegrated and need to be replaced.
NOTE: Your interior garage walls should not be finished, just studs. If walls have to be opened up to studs, this obviously costs more to do.
I'm one of the few (if not the only one) that does this service, most people want to sell you a whole new garage. And sometimes that could be the best route, but I can fix the majority of cases.
